Color Inspiration #52

I finally did it...a Kristina Werner color challenge!

I cannot tell a lie...I totally case'd this idea from an upline by the name of Jenn. I think it is such a beautiful layout. The colors make me want to pack up and head to the beach with umbrellas for my drink. Mind you with the cold snap we are having here I would be wearing some mighty warm clothing.

All product used are stampin up unless otherwise noted. My card base is sahara sand. The vellum (which is white) is stamped with staz on white and them embossed with white embossing powder and heated. I also used the paper piercing tool to place the holes around the edges.

As a demo I can purchase bulk items on somethings. The pretties kit is one such item. I was able to get 20 large flowers and 20 half back pearls. I decided to make some cards using these beautiful items.

Pablo birthday card!

Today we are going to a birthday party so I quickly whipped up this Pablo card. I got the idea from STAMP WITH HEATHER, she created Pablo using stampin up! punches. That's right punches!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids love it and so do I. I hope the birthday girl will.

Well first may I apologize for being so tardy with this blog. It's been almost a year since my last entry so this year I will try to be a little more firm with myself and post more often.

As it is now FEBUARY the month of love I thought I would share with you all my idea for my daughter's valentine treats to share with her class.

All items used are from Stampin Up except the ribbon which is from a ribbon share I did hosted by Jody at (http://www.confessionsofaribbonaddict.blogspot.com/), stickles, and of course the smarties BUT they are peanut free.

It will take me a while to figure out how all the blogging stuff works but I will get the hang of it don't worry. Thanks for stopping by and remember to tell everyone you know about this spot of fun.

My day off....

My DH seems to think that after working Mon - Fri I get 2 whole days off. This is what I did on my days off....
cleaned 3 bedrooms
vacumed
cleaned 3 bathrooms
swept and washed the floors throughout main floor
did almost all the laundry (hey I'm not super woman)
went grocery shopping (not to mention brought all the food in the house and put it away)
made dinner both nights, did dishes too
bought hubby a valentine gift
did I mention I did all the above while watching 2 kids under the age of 4, 1 whom still wears diapers and naps.
And my DH think I get 2 days off...
so what do you do on your days off??????
I have no pictures posted because I have no scanner and my digital does not seem to want to take good pictures, once I figure it I will post my creations. Spread the word, blog candy will happen at some point. Maybe once I hit 100 viewers. :-)

As stated I would start a blog if I won blog candy, well here I am so you know what that means.....I WON!!!!!. I was so excited, it amazes me how the older you get the easier you are to excite. LOL Thanks to Stephanie @ creativeexpressionsbystephanie.blogspot.com. Well for now that is all, believe me I will have more to say later....my Dh calls me a chatty cathy....
